LMW pays Rs. 25 per share final

CHENNAI: Lakshmi Machine Works has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 25 per share of Rs. 10 each for the year ended March 31, 2008. The company had already paid an interim of Rs. 20 per share. The total dividend works out to Rs. 45 per share against Rs. 40 per share in 2006-07. Net sales were higher at Rs. 2,205.16 crore against Rs. 1,853.58 crore. The net profit too was higher at Rs. 242.30 crore against Rs. 206.19 crore. — Corporate Reporter
