Talwars’ abandoned clinic searched

Staff Reporter

NOIDA: The Noida police on Tuesday carried out a search at an abandoned clinic of the Talwars at their Jalvayu Vihar residence in Sector 25 here.

A team led by Superintendent of Police (Noida) Ashok Tripathi searched the clinic in the evening. The Talwars had converted their garage into the clinic a few years ago, but abandoned it later to open clinics in other parts of the town. The police have reportedly seized surgical equipment and compact discs for examination. The seizure assumes significance in the light of the post-mortem reports stating that the assailants had inflicted injuries with surgical precision.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Noida) Satish Ganesh said they were probing all angles and no one had been given a clean chit so far.

“The family had hired at least seven to eight servants during the past five years and many had come and gone as replacements. All people are being questioned,” said Mr. Ganesh, after a high-level meeting to review the progress in the case.

The officer said the former clinic help Vishnu who was arrested on Monday was still being questioned.
