Route numbers for city buses

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will reintroduce route numbers for city services from Wednesday for the benefit of commuters and tourists.
The route numbers will be launched at a function to be held at East Fort by Minister for Transport Mathew T. Thomas. The route numbers would enable the commuters to identify the city bus services easily, according to the KSRTC Executive Director, Operations.
Different routes had been given to different numbers. Same number had been given to services that commence and end at same place. A, B and C have been appended along with route numbers for services that proceed through different routes and reach the same place.
