THRISSUR: Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi has said that there are lapses in the State government’s implementation of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Programme (NREGP). He was addressing a meeting organised by the Youth Congress to commemorate the 17th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi here on Wednesday. The Youth Congress should take out marches to panchayats demanding proper disbursement of the benefits,” he said. – Staff Reporter
