Thilakavathi shifted

CHENNAI: K.R. Shyam Sundar, Additional Director General of Police and Director, Fire and Rescue Services, has been transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police, Enforcement, Chennai.

He replaces G. Thilakavathi with immediate effect.

The change follows the liquor tragedy in the areas bordering Karnataka.

Ms. Thilakavathi has not been given an alternative posting. — Special Correspondent
