Ashin, Lijimol to lead Kerala

KOCHI: Alappuzha’s Ashin Xavier (St Joseph’s HSS, Pulicunnu) and Kollam’s P. Lijimol (Centralised Sports Hostel) will lead the Kerala boys’ and girls’ teams at the 59th National junior basketball championship which begins in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, on May 26.

The teams: Boys: Aby Sony, Jobin Varghese, Praveen Lal, Maheshdas (all Ktm), Arjun Krishna, Cyril James (both Tsr), Basil Philip (Mlp), Shan Shoukathali, Sanil Antony (both Wyd), Ashin Xavier (capt.), Samju A. Joy (both Alp), Jomon Jose (Pta). Coach: P. C. Antony (KSSC). Manager: M.Raveendran (Alappuzha DBA).
