Coimbatore: A second round score of 81 saw Khalin Joshi of Bangalore take the sole lead in Category ‘A’ (15-17 years) of the Lalit Suri junior golf tournament at the par-72 Coimbatore Golf Club here on Wednesday. Joshi’s aggregate score, after the second round, stands at 158 (77, 81). One stroke behind him is overnight joint leader Abhijit Chadha of Chandigarh, who had a round of 82. Ashbeer on topKolkata’s Ashbeer Singh Saini, with a score of 78, is sitting pretty at the top in Category ‘B’ (13-14 years). S. Chikkarangappa of Bangalore, meanwhile, posted a similar score to move one up the order to the second position. Honey Baisoya, with a two-round tally of 169 (85, 84), leads the Category ‘C’ (11-12 years) pack. He is closely followed by local hope S. Sidhartha. The scores (after 36 holes): Category ‘A’: 1. Khalin Joshi 158 (77, 81), 2. Abhijit Chadha 159 (77, 82), 3. Vicky Sharma 160 (81, 79). Category ‘B’: 1. Ashbeer Singh Saini 151 (73, 78), 2. S. Chikkarangappa 157(79, 78), 3. Hemendra Choudhary 158 (77, 81). Category ‘C’: 1. Honey Baisoya 169 (85, 84), 2. S. Sidhartha 171 (86, 85), 3. Akash Srinivasan 175 (85, 90). Category ‘D’: 1. Piyush Sangwan 80, 2. V.G Madappa 84, 3. J.S Sandhu 85.
