Rovers CC posts win

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rovers CC defeated Masters CC by six wickets in the Canara Bank-TDCA ‘A’ division cricket league at the Medical College ground on Wednesday.

Leg-spinner Bibin Chatterjee took seven for 46 as Masters CC, batting first, was dismissed for 149 in the 30th over. In reply, Rovers CC reached the target without much fuss in the 30 over. S.S. Deepu remained unbeaten on 39.

The scores:

Masters CC 149 in 29.3 overs (S.S. Shine 49, Amit Siddharth 33, Bibin Chatterjee seven for 46, Manikandan three for 40) lost to Rovers CC 152 for four in 29.4 overs (S.S. Deepu 39 n.o., Aaron 39).
