Irfan Zama Khan to lead
NEW DELHI: Midfielder Irfan Zama Khan will lead a 20-member Delhi team in the 62nd National football championship for Santosh Trophy to be held in Jammu and Kashmir from May 25 to June 15.
Delhi opens its campaign in Cluster III against Gujarat on May 26 and plays Tripura on May 30.
The squad: Goalkeepers: Rajat Guha, Rampal Prasad and Pronoy Roy. Defenders: Anil Bara, Bijender Kumar, Awdesh Pal, M. Sanatomba Singh, Pushpendra Kundu, Manoj Joshi and Manitombi. Midfielders: Praveen Rawat, Irfan Zama Khan (captain), Ashish Kumar Pandey, Waikhom Ajit Singh, Trilok Singh Bisht and Rajib Karmakar. Forwards: Gyan Moyun, Obed Kamei, Gaugaulung Kamei and Mohinder Singh Rawat. Standbys: Yogesh Prasad, Vikas Rawat, Bulbul, Lalzarizolen, Monu Chowdhury, Kulbhushan, Amit Sharma, Saurabh Mitra, Srikanta Das and Ankit Sharma.
