Vizag Cops triumphs

VISAKHAPATNAM: Vizag Cops won a five-a-side tournament, conducted by the District Hockey Association, at the DLB Salagrampuram ground here on Tuesday.

Vizag Cops beat Port Friends 3-2 to finish on top of the five-team round-robin table with 10 points. Vizag Royals was runner-up. It drew 2-2 with Lips and Devils in the last match of the tournament.

G. Ramjee scored two goals and G. Bhaskar one for Vizag Cops while K. Bhavani and K. Vijay scored one each for Port Friends.
