Boy dies after coming in contact with wire

TAMBARAM: A 15-year-old boy was electrocuted when he came into contact with a live wire at Mahalakshmi Nagar in Adambakkam on Tuesday.
Police said Raj, son of Arumugham, an electrician, was a resident of Gandhi Nagar, Adambakkam. A 9th class student, he was on vacation.
Electrical contracts
Arumugham sent his son along with his friends who were involved in electrical contracts.
On Tuesday evening, Raj accompanied an electrical contractor to an ice cream parlour to install power supply cables when he came into contact with a live wire and died on the spot.
Adambakkam police are investigating.
