Power shutdown in some areas today, tomorrow

BANGALORE: There will be no power supply on Thursday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for availing line clearance on Subramanyapura-Sarakki Line by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL).

According to a Bangalore Electricity Supply Company press release, the areas affected are: BTM 1st and 2nd Stages covering KEB Layout, J.P.Nagar II and III Phases, Kuvempunagara, Madina Nagar, Central Silk Board, Kaverappa Industrial Estate, KAS and IAS Colony, Srinivasa Industrial Estate, Dollar’s Layout 4th Phase, Doresanipalya, Mico Layout,Vysya Bank Colony, N.S. Palya and Industrial area, Bhannerghatta Road, Gurappanapalya, Thavarekere, Jayanagar 1st to 4th Blocks, 4th T Block, 9th Block, Byrasandra, part of Hosur Road, Jayadeva Hospital, Hulimavu, Bilekahalli, K.C.Halli and surrounding areas.

Brigade Software Park, Sarakki Gate, All blocks of Jayanagar, South End, J.P. Nagar 1st to 7th phases, Sarakki, Shakambari Nagara, parts of BTM Layout, Bannerghatta Industrial Area, Bannerghatta Rural, Ragigudda, Marenahalli, Hulimavu, Sarvabhuma Nagara, Arkere and surrounding areas.

Power supply will be disrupted on Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. in HBR 1st, 2nd and 3rd Blocks, Kammanahalli Main Road, Hennur Main Road, Lingarajapura, Kachakaranahalli, Dobhighat, Yasin Nagar, HRBR 2nd and 3rd Blocks, Ramaswamypalya, Ramachandrappa Layout, Kariyanapalya, KSFC Layout, Oil Mill Road, Munikallappa Garden, Shivaramiah Layout, Nehru Road, Aravindanagar, Mangala Layout, Part of HBR 4th and 5th Block, Vidya Sagar, R.K. Hegde Nagar, Nagenahalli, Thanisandra, Nagawara, Ashwath Nagar, Sreeramapura Village, Mestripalya, Amar Jyothi Layout, Chandrika Soap Factory, Govindapura, Brindavan Nagar, Rachenahalli, K.Narayanapura and surrounding areas.

While Kalangar and K.G.Halli will go without power supply between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., power supply will be disrupted in HSR Layout 7th sector and surrounding areas between 10 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., the press release added.
