Another race begins

Staff Reporter

KOCHI: With students scoring exceptionally well in the CBSE class XII examination, the race for admission to graduate courses offered by regular colleges affiliated to the M.G. University is heating up. Students who passed from the State schools will face a tough competition from the CBSE students in getting admission. Heads of top colleges in the city say they might not consider the applications of students who failed to score above 90 per cent in science subjects.

Last year, many colleges had refused to hand over applications to students who scored less than 90 per cent of marks.
