Sangareddy: A large number of unemployed youth led by the Communist party of India (Marxist) Medak committee today laid siege to the district employment office here on Thursday demanding jobs for the local youth.

The siege continued for almost two hours. Addressing the gathering Medak committee secretariat member K. Rajaiah pointed out that major public sector industries like BHEL and many private firms located in the districts have been ignoring local talent and preferring non locals for employment in their firms.
