Welcome respite

The timing was perfect. The pre-monsoon showers in twin cities couldn’t have come at a more opportune time than this.

Just when everybody was preparing themselves for the hard grind of May, when the mercury constantly hovers between 41 and 42 degree centigrade, the showers brought much the needed respite to Hyderabadis.

Early morning temperatures have also been congenial.

With less that ten-days remaining for May to get over, can one conclude that the dreaded dog days of ‘Rohini Karte’ known for its scorching heat will spare Hyderabadis this season?
