Mass wedding at Edavanna

MALAPPURAM: The Ithihadu Shubbanil Mujahideen (ISM) will conduct a family gathering and a mass wedding at Edavanna, near Manjeri, on Saturday and Sunday. Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy will inaugurate the women’s gathering on Sunday morning.

The meeting will be part of a campaign the ISM conducts against what it calls social evils such as dowry, squandering of money, and family disintegration.
