Japanese Consul General meets Anbazhagan

Finance Minister K. Anbazhagan at a meeting with Consul General of Japan Kazuo Minagawa at the Secretariat in Chennai on Friday. Finance Secretary K. Gnanadesikan, Chennai Metro Rail Chairman Munir Hoda, Special Initiatives Secretary T.V. Somanathan, are in the picture.

CHENNAI: The State government has requested the Japan Bank for International Cooperation for early clearance of Japanese loan for the Chennai metro rail project.

At a meeting of the Japanese Consul General Kazuo Minagawa with Finance Minister K.Anbazhagan, the government also appealed for enhancing Japan’s investment in Tamil Nadu both in public and private sector.

Tomonori Minawa, Japanese Consul, Chennai Metro Rail Chairman Munir Hoda, Managing Director T.V. Somanathan, and Finance Secretary K.Gnanadesikan participated in the meeting.
