Three die in accident

VILLUPURAM: Three persons riding on two-wheelers were fatally knocked down by a van at Kandamangalam near here on Friday. Eight occupants of the van were injured.

The deceased were identified as S. Balamurugan of Thennal, P. Saravanan of Devanur in Vettavalam, and K. Moorthy of Virattikuppam. The police said the accident occurred when the van driver lost control of the vehicle.
