Policeman succumbs to injuries

CHENNAI: A police constable who was hit by an unidentified vehicle on Kamarajar Salai on Tuesday succumbed to injuries on Thursday.

The victim, Kumar, was returning to his house in Ice House after night duty on two-wheeler when he was knocked down near Anna Square.

Sai Ammani (32) died of burns on Thursday.
