Fever claims one more life

KASARAGOD: One more patient suffering from fever died in the district on Thursday night.

Karumbi (47), who was undergoing treatment, passed away at her home at Chulli Colony, Munnad, at midnight on Thursday.

Earlier, a person suffering from fever had died at Cheruvathoor on Wednesday.

Several patients who sought treatment in the hospitals on Thursday had symptoms akin to chikungunya.
