MALAPPURAM: The Kerala Sahitya Akademi will organise a literary camp for young writers at Moyinkutty Vaidyar Memorial, Kondotty, on Saturday and Sunday. M. Mukundan, novelist and chairman of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi, will inaugurate the camp on Saturday. T.K. Hamza, MP, will preside over. Manamboor Rajanbabu, poet, will deliver the Kadammanitta memorial lecture. Writers Palakkeezhu Narayanan and Thrikkulam Krishnankutty will commemorate K.T. Mohammed and Kedamangalam Sadanandan respectively. Poet Alankode Leelakrishnan will inaugurate a literary debate, which will be followed by a poets’ meet. Young poets will present their works at the meet, which will conclude on Sunday. Manambur Rajanbabu, camp director, said 42 writers were selected for the camp on the basis of their works.
