Havells posts Rs. 144 crore net profit

NEW DELHI: Power equipment manufacturer Havells India posted a net profit of Rs. 144 crore in 2007-08, a year-on-year growth of 41 per cent, while its revenue went up by 33 per cent to Rs. 2,055 crore. Its earnings per share stood at Rs. 26. Switchgear sales grew by 34 per cent to Rs. 543 crore and cable and wire business by 36 per cent to Rs. 924 crore. . — Special Correspondent
