HUBLI: The two league matches of Savsol Cup-2008 under-16 inter-club cricket tournament played at the Railway Sports ground and Karnataka Gymkhana ground here on Friday ended in a draw as play had to be stopped because of sudden showers. Union Gymkhana (Belgaum) and Hubli Cricket Academy (HCA) shared one point each, while BDK Sports Foundation was awarded three points for its first innings lead against HCA ‘B.’. The scores: Union Gymkhana 248 in 56.2 overs (P. Nagendra 74, G. Govind 42) drew with HCA 202 for five in 40 overs (M.H. Tejas 55, Sounak Biswas 51, Ketaz four for 64). BDK SF 245 for four in 26 overs (Ramachandra Hegde 106) drew with HCA ‘B’ 97 in 31.5 overs & 150 for seven in 34 overs (Rahul Bhille 63, Prateek Patil three for 30).
