Woman beaten to death

Baripada: A 65-year-old woman was beaten to death by four persons on the suspicion of performing witchcraft at Panchamania village, about 50 km from here on Thursday, according to the police.

The victim, identified as Umarani Parida, was attacked by the persons leading to her death on Thursday. The villagers also assaulted the victim’s son. A case was registered. -PTI
