Workshop held on management

BHUBANESWAR: Lack of managerial acumen was the main reason for ineffective implementation of the public sector programmes besides the lack of effective political leadership and infrastructural constraints, K.L. Chopra, former director of IIT, Kharagpur, said here on Friday.

Mr. Chopra was chairing the inaugural session of a workshop on ‘reorienting management education in the current context’ organised by the Human Development Foundation (HDF), which rolled out formal post-graduate diploma in management (PGDM) on the occasion.
