Talk on managerial skills held

Staff Reporter

BHUBANESWAR: Lack of managerial acumen was the main reason behind ineffective implementation of public sector programmes besides the lack of effective political leadership and infrastructural constraints, K.L. Chopra, former director of IIT, Kharagpur said here on Friday.

Mr. Chopra, a Padmashree awardee, was chairing an inaugural session of a workshop on ‘Reorienting management education in the current context’ organised by the Human Development Foundation (HDF), which rolled out PGDM certificates.
