“Yerra Samudram depicts ryots’ plight”

Any government or political party must not go for privatisation of a unit that should continue in the public sector and farmers should not be forced to dispose of their land, film personality R. Narayana Murthy said here on Friday.

The agony faced by farmers due to Special Economic Zones was the theme of his latest production ‘Yerra Samudram’ and the Nandigram incidents formed the backdrop of the movie, he said at a press conference organised by the Vizag Film Society.
