Surveyor held

CHENNAI: Officers of the Chennai City-II detachment of Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption on Friday arrested a surveyor at the office of tahsildar at Ambattur taluk office for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 10,000 from complainant M. Vaigai Selvam, a resident of North Boag Road in T. Nagar.

According to the complainant, the accused had sought money to deliver title deeds in the name of the complainant and his two brothers. The accused was arrested and let off on bail.
