Missing

CHENNAI: A 24-year-old man who went into the sea at the Marina Beach did not return to the shore on Thursday.

Police have registered a case of a missing person.

According to the Anna Square police, the youth, Mahendran had come to Chennai with his parents and sister. His mother had been admitted to Government General Hospital for treatment.

Mahendran had come to the beach with his father. He had swum some distance but did not return.
