FACE TO FACE: Bunty Peerbhoy, Chairman of the MAA Group of companies, Bangalore, speaking at the Face 2 Face With the Leader programme organised by the Kerala Management Association in Kochi on Friday.

KOCHI: Marketing services companies should evolve as business partners and not vendors as seen today, said Bunty Peerbhoy, chairman of the MAA group of Companies, Bangalore. Mr. Peerbhoy was participating in the ‘Face 2 Face With the Leader’ programme organised by the Kerala Management Association here on Friday. The sole purpose of advertising is to drive economic value and advertising marketing companies need to metamorphose themselves to drive economic value.

Advertising marketing companies should be prepared to metamorphose or become extinct, he said.

Advertisement is an investment and not a hobby. Those making the investment will also expect returns and advertisement marketing companies should become the drivers of economic values, he said. Sunil K. Zachariah, past president of the association, introduced the guest.

P. Ravindranath, president of the association, welcomed the gathering and K.N. Shastry, secretary, proposed a vote of thanks.
