More rain likely

Bangalore: More rain has been predicted for the next 48 hours in various parts of the State, particularly south interior Karnataka, coastal areas and parts of north Karnataka.

Bangalore city received 8 mm rain in the last 24 hours, ending at 8.30 p.m. on Saturday.

According to the BBMP control room, there were reports of uprootal of trees in Vijayanagar, RPC Layout and Jagjivan Ram Nagar.
