New governing body of Market Committee assumes charge

TENALI: Bavi Reddy Venkateswarulu was sworn in as Chairman of Duggirala Market Committee on Sunday. Koganti Ravi Chand was sworn in as the Vice-Chairman along with 16 directors.

The swearing-in ceremony which took place on the yard premises at Duggirala was marked by a huge turn around with many Congress supporters present. Duggirala MLA Gudibanda Venkat Reddy, Tenali Municipal Chairperson T. Mastanamma and former MLA Avuthu Rami Reddy were present.

The MLA asked the new governing body of the agricultural committee to work with commitment and dedication in governing the yard. He said that farmers in delta have reaped rich harvest of Maize and asked the committee to take measures so that farmers receive fair remuneration.
