Annamayya 600th birth anniversary

KHAMMAM: Annamacharya was a saint of many parts. Besides proving himself as a social reformer of his time he could elevate people to great devotional planes, said Daivagna Sharma, numerologist and member of TTD advisory panel here on Sunday.
Inaugurating the 600th birth anniversary celebrations of the saint poet, organised jointly by Kalabharati, TTD and Department of Cultural Affairs, he said the renderings of Annamacharya had a great impact on the lives of people. TTD Veda Project director, K. Srinivas said that, Annamayya had been the perennial source of inspiration for the composers from the spiritual world. dignitaries including Bandaru Srinivasa Rao, V.V. Appa Rao, took part.
