5,000 illiterate persons to be provided training

GUNTUR: Some 5,000 illiterate persons from several disadvantaged sections of the society will be provided training-cum-employment at the Rajiv Gems Park at Mallepalli in Hyderabad over a period of six months.

Selection of 600 candidates in first phase,would be made from among deaf and dumb, children of widows at Tenali, Guntur, Narsaraopet, and Piduguralla during May, district Collector B. Venkatesham said.
