Hailstorm lashes fort town

VIZIANAGARAM: People in the town experienced hailstorm accompanied by strong gales on Monday afternoon. Vehicular traffic was paralysed on the NH-43 when an age-old tree got uprooted by strong gales and fell across the road near police grounds in the town.

However, no one was injured. The police diverted the traffic and engaged workers to remove the tree.
