One lakh register for NREGA

PUDUCHERRY: Around 1 lakh persons have so far been registered under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act scheme in the Union Territory, a release from DRDA said. The release said the process to photograph the beneficiaries and issue job cards to them had begun. After receiving cards, the beneficiaries could apply for jobs, the release added.
