NAMAKKAL: The State Government will provide financial assistance to 10 students three boys and three girls from Backward Classes and two boys and two girls belonging to Most Backward Classes/Denotified communities who secure highest marks in SSLC examination from government high schools to pursue higher secondary education in the best private schools of their choice in Tamil Nadu.
The annual parental income of the students availing of the benefit under the scheme shall not exceed Rs.1 lakh.
A student will be sanctioned the financial assistance of Rs.56,000 for two years, not exceeding Rs.28,000 a year.
