Supervisor murdered

A supervisor working in a real estate company was murdered at Narsingi on Monday night.

Thirty-year-old Vijay Bhaskar, a resident of Kukatpally, was sitting along with his girl friend near his workplace when an unidentified person picked up an argument with him over a trivial issue. In a fit of rage, the miscreant attacked Bhaskar with a knife resulting in bleeding injuries to him. He was rushed to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead. Police said reasons behind the murder were yet to be ascertained.

Two constables held

Two police constables were taken into custody on Monday for reportedly stealing mobile phones from a hotel in Banjara Hills. A case was booked against the constables Bhaskar and Krishna Murthy on Wednesday last.

Man held, firearm seized

The city police on Monday arrested a scrap dealer for allegedly possessing a firearm. Amul Singh, 28, a native of Medak district, was moving under suspicious circumstances when the police caught him.
