Pre-counselling: good response from students

Kozhikode: The Hindu-EducationPlus pre-counselling guidance programme, organised for students who have qualified for admission to professional colleges, will be held in Kozhikode on June 9. The event has drawn good response.

The venue will be Calicut Tower, Markaz Complex, near the mofussil bus stand on Indira Gandhi Road.

The event, which will start at 9.30 a.m. and go on till afternoon, will be organised in association with State Bank of Travancore. Triumphant Institute of Management Education (TIME) is the co-sponsor.

As in previous years, the counselling session will be led by a panel of experts in the field of medicine, engineering, and those leading the counselling conducted by the government for admission to professional colleges.

The panelists will speak on various courses available to the students as well as the aptitude needed for successfully studying the course.

The programme will conclude with a question and answer session in which the panelists will clear the students’ doubts. The students will be provided with a handbook containing details of professional courses.
