Nehru remembered

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) observed the 44th death anniversary of the former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru by conducting all religious prayers throughout the State. Congress Working Committee member K. Karunakaran, Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy, the former Meghalaya Governor M.M. Jacob, KPCC vice-president Thalekunnil Basheer, Congress deputy leader in the Assembly G. Karthikeyan, and other leaders attended the function held at Indira Bhavan, the KPCC headquarters. — Special Correspondent
