Arun Singh scalps four

NEW DELHI: A four-wicket haul by Arun Singh helped Vidhya Jain Academy to a 46-run victory over Gush Club in the first round of the 35th all-India Goswami Ganesh Dutt cricket tournament at the St. Stephen’s College ground, Mori Gate, on Tuesday.

Sanjay Verma who scored 35 and bagged two wickets for the eventual winner was adjudged the ’man of the match’.

The scores: Vidhya Jain Academy 253 in 38.6 overs (Agnesh Surya 67) bt Gush CC 207 in 38.3 overs (Amitoze Singh 57, Parry Goel 50, Arun Singh four for 38).
