Textbooks arrive

Sale components of N.T. Books will be available in authorised book shops in Hyderabad from May 25 onwards, a press note from District Educational Officer said on Tuesday. Parents and students may purchase the books directly from the shops or through the headmasters concerned.

School correspondents or headmasters intending to purchase the books in bulk have to obtain the counter signature of the DEO on their indent. They can have books from the main dealer ‘VAPS Books’ at Plot No. 80, Mallapur on 10 per cent commission. The DEO also cautioned the shop keepers against selling pirated books or quoting higher price.
