Colourful: Different kinds of paintings on display at an exhibition at Maison Colombani in Puducherry. PUDUCHERRY: From water colour paintings to acrylic, bronze to wooden sculptures, 40 artists from across south India displayed their creative works at an exhibition that began on Tuesday. The exhibition, organised by Kalam A Little Art Movement for the fourth year, attempts to provide a platform for artists to showcase their talents. “The works of eminent artists who have participated in national level exhibitions have been displayed here,” Fine Arts Group Coordinator of the organisation M. Raghunath said. Around 64 works have been displayed at the exhibition. They include water colour paintings, oil on canvas, acrylic paintings, bronze, wooden and terracotta sculptures. Vice-president of the movement J. Dilip Prasanna said the best work would be selected and a cash award of Rs. 10,000 given to the artist. The exhibition would be on till May 31 at Maison Colombani.
