Man sentenced for adulteration

Sonepat: A shopkeeper has been sentenced to one year rigorous imprisonment for selling adulterated oil in the district, officials said on Wednesday.

Chief Judicial Magistrate R.P. Goel sentenced Narinder Kumar to one year rigorous imprisonment on Tuesday for selling adulterated mustard oil, they said.

A fine of Rs.2,000 has also been imposed on him, they added. --PTI
