MCD to hand over 11 plots to DMRC

NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi is going to hand over 11 plots of land to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation at a cost of Rs.30 crore.

MCD Standing Committee Chairman Vijender Gupta said on Wednesday: “The DMRC had earlier offered us Rs.30 lakh for the sites but we had referred the matter back as the amount was too less. While some of the properties would be offered on lease, others are for permanent occupation.”
