Exclusion of ‘patta’ land promised

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government will consider the exclusion of bona fide ‘patta’ land from the proposed Neelakurinji Sanctuary at Munnar.

An assurance in this regard was given by Forest Minister Benoy Viswom to an all-party delegation which met him on Wednesday on the intention notification of the Neelakurinji Sanctuary. The delegation was led by S. Rajendran and K.K. Jayachandran, who represented Devicolam and Udumbanchola respectively in the Assembly. — Special Correspondent
