‘Speed up special quota appointments’

Thiruvananthapuram: The All Kerala Parents Association of Hearing Impaired has asked the authorities to speed up the appointments to the special quota of posts reserved in government service for the physically-challenged persons through the Public Service Commission.

General secretary of the Association M. Moideen said in a statement here on Wednesday that the backlog since 2004 was remaining unfilled.

He said the delay was causing a lot of difficulties to the applicants who included hearing impaired persons also. — Special Correspondent
