BJP to observe ‘victory day’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to observe May 30, when the first BJP government in south India will assume charge in Karnataka, as ‘victory day.’

State president of the party P.K. Krishnadas said here on Wednesday that the victory had infused new dynamism to the party in the State. It was bound to reflect in all the elections which would take place in the State after that, he added. — Special Correspondent
