Demand for qualified teachers

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: Students of Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya in West Patel Nagar along with their parents and residents of the area under the aegis of Krantikari Yuva Sangathan staged a demonstration on Tuesday to demand that the State Education Department provide qualified science teachers at the institution. “The Education Department has failed to provide qualified science teachers at Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya in West Patel Nagar, that happens to be the only government school in the locality that offers science stream. In subjects like physics, chemistry and computer science, students were left to fend for themselves for the CBSE Class XII examination,” charged Sunil Kumar, State committee member of the Sangathan. The organisation later submitted a memorandum.
