Vivek sparkles

NEW DELHI: A fine performance by G.S. Vivek of The Indian Express (85 not out and three for 21) helped the Delhi Sports Journalists Association XI to a seven-victory over the Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Society in the annual match for the Dewan Chaman Lal Katyal Trophy at the St. Stephen’s College ground here on Wednesday.

Suresh Kaushik also contributed to the triumph with a three-wicket haul.

The scores: Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Society 165 in 24.3 overs lost to DSJA XI 168 for three in 24.5 overs (G. S. Vivek 85 not out, Priyatosh Kumar 42 not out).
